Serendipity Travel Experiences is a federally permitted private ground transportation company based in Tulum, Quintana Roo. Since 2020 we have moved more than 45,000 passengers between Cancun International Airport, Tulum International Airport, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Los Cabos in privately owned Suburbans, VIP vans and Sprinters, with bilingual chauffeurs and flight tracking on every arrival.

What we do

We are not a booking marketplace and we do not resell your ride to a third party. We own the vehicles, we employ the chauffeurs and we hold the federal SICT permits required to operate airport transportation in Mexico. Every reservation is confirmed by a real person before you land.

How much is a private transfer from Cancun airport to Tulum?

The drive takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes and is quoted per vehicle, not per passenger. Rates depend on vehicle class. You receive a fixed, all inclusive price with no airport surcharges added later.

Is Tulum airport closer to Tulum than Cancun airport?

Yes. Tulum International Airport (TQO) is roughly 30 to 40 minutes from the Tulum hotel zone, while Cancun International Airport (CUN) is about 1 hour and 45 minutes away. We serve both airports.

Do you track flights?

Yes. We monitor every inbound flight and adjust pickup time automatically. Waiting time is included for delayed arrivals at no extra cost.

Are your drivers legally allowed to pick up at the airport?

Yes. We hold federal SICT permits, which are required to legally operate transportation from Mexican airports. Many low cost operators do not hold them, which is why their vehicles are sometimes turned away at the terminal.

Can you handle a wedding or a large group?

Yes. We coordinate multi vehicle group arrivals, welcome desks and shuttle schedules for weddings and corporate events across the Riviera Maya and Los Cabos.
